Emma Loggins, Founder & Editor-in-Chief, FanBolt.com

Emma Loggins:

Self-proclaimed geek girl and serial entrepreneur, Emma Loggins is the Founder and Editor of the popular geek culture site FanBolt (which she launched in 2002). She updates the site daily on the latest happenings in the television and film industry, the world of technology, must-visit travel destinations – and really any that you’d be a fan of and geek out over! The site has a strong focus on Atlanta film and happenings, as Emma was born and raised just south of the city.

Emma has conducted countless interviews as well as done on-camera personality work with many conventions in the genre space – producing exclusive content around shows such as The Walking Dead, Lost, Gotham, Game of Thrones and many more. Named one of Atlanta’s top tech talents to watch, Emma is also the Founder and Director of Strategy of Excite Creative Studios, a full-service creative agency based in Atlanta

Carrie Burns, Co-founder/CEO of Atlanta Movie Tours

Carrie Burns:

Carrie has been engaged in the Atlanta film industry for years. As a natural connector Carrie often serves as a liaison between film and television crews working in “Atlanta’s Backlot” of Castleberry Hill which sparked her initial interest in the filming boom in Georgia. She is dedicated to closing the gap between crews, neighbors and local businesses to create a symbiotic relationship for all involved during filming.

After working in technology and software marketing with her family business Carrie went on to start a successful web development company with her husband in 2003. Carrie holds an MBA from Mercer University and is involved with a number of civic organizations and non-profits in Atlanta. She also serves as Provincial VP of her business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi where she encourages leadership and entrepreneurship

Dan Carroll, Media Relations Director, Dragon Con

Dan Carroll:

Dan Carroll has become a driving force in Atlanta Fandom through his public celebration of the fan community.  Since 2009, he has been the official spokesperson for Dragon Con. Recently promoted to Media Engagement Director for Dragon Con, he had served as the Media Relations Director for the organization from 2009-2018. Known for his inclusive, friendly, and encouraging style, he believes fandom events provide a home for those who want to share common interest, find a safe venue for self-expression and interaction, and basically be themselves.  Over the past ten years he has represented several other smaller events, most notably the Gaming and Anime Convention MomoCon.  In his limited free time he enjoys being amusing, watching TV and movies, reading, and playing World of Warcraft.  To fund his nerd/fan lifestyle, he is an IT project management consultant.
