The Film Office Wants to Include Your Photo or Video!
On February 27th, the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office will host a “Film Day” at the Georgia State Capitol. It will provide an opportunity to educate people about the impact of film and television production in Georgia and how it continues to generate money for the state and jobs for residents.
We would love to have you come to the Capitol to share your stories with passing legislators, but because we know a lot of people will be working, we’d also like add to our photo montage of people impacted by the industry, either directly or indirectly.
We need your help to put together a presentation of photographs of people holding signs saying anything positive you’d like legislators and Governor Deal to see  (thank you, supporting my family with the film industry, I get to work in Georgia doing what I love, I bought my house with film money, etc) – group shots and individual. It’s one thing to say it, but another to show the faces of the people whose lives have changed for the better as a result of our tax incentive. You can also send a short video – 15 seconds or less. DEADLINE is February 1st.
These photos will be part of a slideshow that will be looping during Film Day. Please send photos to  film@georgia.org, and forward this message to anyone working in our industry.
Thank you!
